AccessAbility Annual 5k FUNdraiser
On Saturday, September 13th, the AccessAbility crew got together for our annual Run, Walk and Roll fundraiser. This year, we raised funds for our All Stars Special Olympics team. They are excited for all the new sports we are introducing, like bowling and basketball!
We would especially like to thank Groves Foundation and Steele & Hops for their generosity as the Starting Line and Finish Line sponsors. It is through these partnerships that we are able to further our mission and provide more opportunities for our persons served.
Stay tuned for our future events! Couldn’t make it to the walk? You can still make a difference and donate online via GiveSmart! We hope to see you next year.
AccessAbility State Fair Day
Every year we host a State Fair Day for our persons served. This day is filled with fun activities like dance parties, face painting, and carnival games. Their favorite part of the day? Choosing which staff member gets a pie to the face and has to go in the dunk tank!
We would also like to thank our volunteers and staff members for making this a fun-filled and special day! It’s events like these that highlight part of our mission: to provide fun opportunities for our persons served.
